Prayer Bundles and Prayer Feathers

It is the Natives belief that to gain the attention and blessings of the higher spirits you must offer a gift that will delight them. Usually the more work and effort put into and item for offering the more inclined the spirits are to bless the request put to them, this often required more focus upon the intent of the prayer or request by its creator, hence giving it more energy both physically and psychically.
Prayer Bundles are usually created for prayers and guidance required when one will be entering a Sweat Lodge ceremony. Within each bundle which is made from a square of cloth that signifies the representative colour of each individual direction and the spirit it caries, is placed a small offering of tobacco, cornmeal or bee pollen, which is then tied with a natural fibre string, whilst honouring the spirit with a grateful prayer and asking for their blessing in which ever endeavor you require assistance with. You may make only one or up to four prayer bundles to take into the sweat lodge with you. Four being each representative of the four directions.
The bundles are then tied to the ceiling of the sweat lodge or placed on the alter within the lodge, where they will entice the higher spirits to bless your request or visit you with their advise and wisdom while you journey within the sacred space of the sweat lodge and its ceremony.
Prayer Feathers are made in honour of the higher spirits and guides and are usually made with prayers for loved ones whom may need healing or spiritual assistance. They too are made in a sacred manner and decorated with respect and love, whilst focusing on the prayer you asked on behalf of your loved one, which is then hug within a chosen tree that you have been guided to by spirit.

In the workshop you will be guided through the correct and sacred manner of making your prayer bundles and feathers, you will learn the spiritual significance of the items used and which ones to choose to best suit your prayer or request.
This workshop takes about two hours and all materials will be supplied and included in the price
