The Medicine pouch
All
Shaman, medicine men and women, healers and light workers should have
their own medicine pouch.
A Medicine pouch is used to carry small gifts they have been given through
spirit on their sacred journey. These gifts can appear after one has completed
a personal and trying time in their lives. They often present themselves
to the shaman or apprentice after they have completed a time of sacrifice
for their elders, tribe or for personal spiritual enlightenment, such
as a Sun Dance ceremony or a Vision Quest. These gifts appear in many
different forms as crystals or power stones, feathers or fur from a respected
animal or bird, herbs and /or their roots and other such items.
A Medicine pouch is often made for a Shaman when it is apparent that that
will be their vocation, or they or their gifts have been noticed by spirit
and those that connect with the spirit world. As we have become more detached
from the spiritual and tribal ways in our modern society these gifts are
not a s often noticed or blessed with the gift of a medicine pouch, yet
many urban shaman have a huge need for a medicine pouch, they are very
useful

taught how to create a sacred space and how to make a medicine pouch in
a sacred manner so those who wish to create a medicine pouch for themselves
or for another, may now do so in the honourable and sacred way that is
required, so the medicine pouch will always hold and keep the energy of
the sacred objects it carries and protects.
In a Medicine Pouch workshop you will learn of the sacredness of the Medicine
pouch, its gifts and how to make one in a sacred manner, which also involves
creating a sacred space, connecting with the chosen recipients spirit
guides and being open and guided by them in its creation.
A Medicine Pouch workshop takes about 3 hours. You will need to bring
a photo or item that is closely associated with your recipient (if you
have one). All materials will be provided and are included in the workshop
price along with refreshments.
